Invention Engine Hub pack

The Invention Engine hub is a microcontroller. Microcontrollers are sometimes referred to as ‘brain boards’, they are usually responsible for running programs. Microcontrollers have the capability to input, process and output, so they’re basically mini computers.

The Invention Engine hub consists of eight ports where Invention Engine bits plug in to receive input and output instructions. The Invention Engine hub stores your programs and tells the Invention Engine bits what to do and when to do it. It also has rivet holes on the side for attaching the Invention Engine hub directly to cardboard.

The Invention Engine hub is a USB device that plugs directly into the USB port of your computer. Once your Invention Engine hub is plugged in and connected you will be able to download Invention Engine programs on the Invention Engine hub to control the bits.
The Invention Engine hub requires a power source to operate. It can be powered via the USB port on your computer or by connecting it to the battery bit.
